HR & SAFETY COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$40,000 - $65,000 per year DOE
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Handle all HR and safety matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and pre-employment processes
  • Conduct orientations, schedule physicals, and complete hiring documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and track PTO, attendance, and tardiness
  • Manage benefit enrollments and updates
  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll documentation
  • Generate weekly HR and efficiency reports
  • Conduct new hire and annual safety training, including OSHA refreshers
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Support disciplinary procedures and performance review process
  • Review equipment inspections and maintain operator certifications
  • Coordinate training schedules for forklifts and other equipment
  • Perform daily on-site safety inspections and document findings
  • Manage respirator programs, monthly audits, and safety records
  • Oversee waste disposal, safety supply inventory, and emergency equipment checks
  • Maintain and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 3–5 years of HR and/or Safety experience (certification preferred)
  • OSHA 30 – General Industry certification required
  • Strong discretion and integrity in handling confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving and online research skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
