American Red Cross: Junior Guard

Designed for youth ages 10-14
Provides a foundation of life guarding and life skills. The Junior Guard program focuses on five key areas: prevention of aquatic accidents, fitness and swimming skills, response in an emergency, leadership skills and professionalism of a lifeguard. Participants will attend a session, then have the opportunity to work hand in hand with our lifeguards. If participants earn 25 hours, they will be eligible for the end of season trip.
All participants will receive a shirt or visor, lanyard, and whistle.
