DESCRIPTION:1 hour 30 minutes\n\nDesigned for youth ages 10-14\n\nProvides a foundation of life guarding and life skills. The Junior Guard program focuses on five key areas: prevention of aquatic accidents\, fitness and swimming skills\, response in an emergency\, leadership skills and professionalism of a lifeguard. Participants will attend a session\, then have the opportunity to work hand in hand with our lifeguards. If participants earn 25 hours\, they will be eligible for the end of season trip.\n\nAll participants will receive a shirt or visor\, lanyard\, and whistle.
