Twilight*Firelight at Fanthorp

Fanthorp Inn celebrates the holiday season with a journey back to the 1850's. The Inn opens her doors for our TWILIGHT*FIRELIGHT holiday event. Enjoy the ambiance of the candle lit Inn, period music, poetry, stagecoach rides and a host of living history characters. Activities begin at the Grimes County courthouse where visitors board a replica stagecoach or hay wagon for the ride down Main Street to Fanthorp Inn. Upon arrival, visitors will meet weary travelers, cowboys, Rachel Fanthorp and personalities who will entertain with stories, poetry, music, wassail and good cheer. The atmosphere of the Inn and 1850's personalities bring to the holiday season enchantment and peace - a delight for the young and young-at-heart! Tickets are sold in front of the courthouse from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm.
