Obesity: Has it Reached the Levels of Being an Accepted Social Condition?

Obesity and sedentary Lifestyles are escallating national and global epidemics that warrant increased attention by physicians and other health care professionals. These intricately linked conditions are responsible for an enormous burden of chronic disease, impaired physical function and quality of life. What are we doing to curb the epidemic? How obesity has a domino effect on our health and industry will be discussed.
