Lifetime Learning Luncheon

Dr. Robert W. (Bill) Gilmer, Senior Economist and Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas will speak on "Energy, Tech and Trade Drive Texas Recovery". Dr. Gilmer joined the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as a senior economist in 1989, and has been the officer in charge of the El Paso Branch since 2003.  He co-manages the 11th District's regional economic analysis, and is editor of two of the bank's regional publications, Houston Business and Crossroads.  Dr. Gilmer's work on the Texas Economy has been noted by publications such as The Economist, Fortune, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
