Lifetime Learning Lecture

Lifetime Learning Lecture.  “Pride and Prejudice” with Professor Dennis Huston.  During the November 8 lecture, Professor Huston will discuss the novel.  The November 15 lecture will focus on how the movie modernizes the book, giving a contemporary twist to the story.  Professor Huston holds degrees from Wesleyan and Yale Universities and has taught at Rice for over forty years.  In 1989-90, he was named “Professor of the Year”.
