1.       Who Collects the Local Hotel Occupancy Tax;
2.       Exemptions from the Tax;
3.       Use of the Local Hotel Occupancy Tax Revenues;
    a)      Criteria #1- Every Expenditure Must DIRECTLY Enhance and Promote Tourism AND the         Hotel & Convention Industry; 
    b)      Criteria #2: Every expenditure of the tax must clearly fit into one of nine statutorily     provided Categories ;
1)       Funding the Establishment, Improvement, or Maintenance of a Convention Centeror Visitor Information Center;
2)       Paying the Administrative Costs for Facilitating Convention Registration;
3)       Advertising/Promotion of the City for Tourism;
a.       Minimum expenditure that must be spent on advertising and promotion;
4)       Historical Restoration/Preservation of Tourism Venues;
5)       Promotion of Arts Activities that Impact Tourism;
6)       Supporting Sporting Related Events that Substantially Increase Hotel Activity;

7)       Funding the Enhancement or Upgrading of Existing Sports Facilities for Certain Municipalities;
8)       Funding Transportation Systems for Tourists;
9)       Signage Directing Tourists to Sights and Attractions Frequented by Hotel Guests
