Heart of the Tin Trunk

A young girl's journey to discover her history and her family begins when she understands the heart of her ancestors--their bravery, hardships, loyalties and romances.

She learns about her ancestors from an old tin trunk--filled with treasures that recall stories. And it’s these stories that lead to her own discovery, adventure, and romance.

For the Texas girl who had all the answers at graduation, an old tin trunk with its quilt, a picture, and a wedding dress leads to new adventure and love.

The story takes you from the exuberance of a Texas graduation celebration to the heart of the historic Czech lands, with a woman facing a terrifying decision to take her children on a dangerous  journey across an ocean in search of a new life in Texas.
