Handel's Messiah Sing-Along

Handel's Messiah Sing-Along is the first of a new holiday tradition at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Brenham.  Join us to sing or listen on Monday, December 19 at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary of St. Peter's.  Bring an edition of your music score of Handel's Messiah or purchase a copy at the door, to join in the choruses normally sung by choirs.  Participants wishing to just listen to the glorious music are also welcome!

Patrick Scott, a doctoral student at the University of Texas, will conduct the sing-along.  Evan Hines and Elliontt Hines will perform arias, and members of the Brazos Valley Symphony will accompany. 

The performance is free and open to the public.  Donations will be gladly accepted to defray costs of professional orchestra and soloists, in order to make this festive event and annual tradition.
