Brenham HeartChase
HeartChase is a new initiative and active-event designed by the American Heart Association to engage residents in its mission of living healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke and the fight against heart disease and stroke. Heart Disease claims more American lives than any other disease. Through HeartChase we hope to motivate Brenham residents to seek out healthier lifestyles and learn to protect their hearts.
The event is a fun one: think Amazing Race meets Minute to Win It. Starting from Game Central at Blinn College, participant teams of 2-5 will race around the campus to complete checkpoints, find hidden clues and earn more points than other teams before returning to Game Central. Teams will text their achievements and receive game-related updates via the HeartChase App. You can view the HeartChase video to see the fun at: www.heartchase.org.
